Castilla-La Mancha is the living stage of the greatest novel in Spanish. We propose a route through the five places every Don Quixote lover must visit at least once.
The cervantine route includes: Consuegra with its 11 windmills from the 16th century; Campo de Criptana with the original windmills Cervantes knew; El Toboso, the land of Dulcinea; Alcázar de San Juan with its cervantine tradition; and Ciudad Real as the heart of living La Mancha.
